Let’s be honest. We all have good moments & bad moments…good traits & not-so-great traits. But when bad starts to outweigh good or when something keeps getting in the way of the life you want to live-why allow that? I’d be honored to offer you a supportive place & relationship to help defeat whatever is standing between you & the life you deserve.
My goal is to help people find hope and SOLUTION to negative things they are experiencing through their own personal empowerment. In addition to the “regular life stuff,” I specialize in anxiety/stress-related issues, phobia, PTSD, life transition, abuse/trauma, & career counseling to include expatriate and professional development services. I myself am an Army Veteran so I feel I have a lot to offer my fellow Veterans, especially regarding the over-medication we as a group receive.
In my office, clients are not just hours on a jam-packed session schedule. Each has a unique plan to attack their challenge in life. And yes, there’s even free coffee and tea.

Comments about supporting patients coming off of psychiatric drugs.

My approach to therapy is based upon the recognition that we as humans are complex creatures so there is no single approach to therapy that is perfectly suited for everyone in every situation. The framework from which I operate is primarily a blend of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (challenging core beliefs/thoughts in order to better understand and improve ourselves) and Adlerian Therapy (recognizing how our past experiences and the social aspects of our lives connect to how we think and feel). I also am an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) clinician. I believe that what often surfaces as “upsetting” or “stressful” in our present world is directly connected to how we have scripted and stored information and experiences in the brain. I believe empowerment comes from knowledge, realization, and more deliberate thought and action.
